BBM places the highest priority on ensuring that our users find high quality content on BBM that suits their needs. Organising and delivering this type of high quality content requires a great deal of understanding about user profiles, coordination with our content providers and collaboration among internal BBM teams.

We are looking for a Content Curator in our Jakarta office to help us in these efforts. You will work closely with BBM content providers to select appropriate content and upload aforesaid content to official BBM Channels. You will also work closely with relevant BBM team members to help make BBM Channels a fun and engaging place for our users to explore.

The ideal candidate would have a degree in Journalism, English or a similar field, or related work experience; writing and copy editing skills; the ability to package news; and a working knowledge of online social networks.

This is a full-time position based in our Jakarta office.

Responsibilities:
Work with BBM’s content providers to feature, upload and monitor content on BBM Channels on a regular basis
Help determine standards & guidelines both for what makes quality content, and how to present it well
Review partner content to ensure it meets these standards
Create thematically curated lists of pieces of content to give suggestions to users based on user data and time of year
Serve as liaison between the Content, Marketing and Product teams to develop great ways to package and present professional content

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a field such as Journalism, English or a similar field, or related work experience
Outstanding language proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia & English
Has excellent organization and people skills and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multitask and work well independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace
Has experience working across regions, time zones and business cultures

Bonus points if you have:
Copywriting experience
Working experience in the news/media industry
